A steward holds Kung-Fu Duel for 1 of its seasons and steers it from this panel: the knobs its manifest declares, within bounds, with every change a numbered version that can be brought back. The engine, its rules and the money stay AgentBorn's.

A candidate holds at least 100,000 $BORN in a proved wallet for 7 days in a row, signs in with X, and holds no other seat. The steward keeps that minimum held through the term; below it, AgentBorn may end the term. The naming rules rank the candidates and offer the seat down the ranking; the term clock starts when the panel is handed over, not at the claim.

Free knobs take effect when a config is published. Season-locked knobs are published the same way and take effect when the season rolls over, so balance never moves mid-season.

The seat is empty and open to candidates.

How Kung-Fu Duel's steward is named

AgentBorn publishes the naming rules as numbered versions: a weight for each signal (the game's leaderboard, the $BORN held, and plays over the prior 7 days), the plays and candidates a naming needs, and a window to meet them in. A version's rules are frozen while its window is open.

When they are met, and at least 3 days after the first version opened, the eligible candidates are ranked: each signal counts by where a candidate stands among the others, weighted. The first has 24 hours to claim, with the hold check still passing; a pass or no answer offers the seat to the next. A window that closes unmet lapses, and the next version opens a new one.
